Zaterdag zijn mijn man en ik naar Borg Verhildersum in Leens geweest.http://www.verhildersum.nl/ Er was textieldag. Het was heel leuk om al die kraampjes te zien. Er was een hele grote kraam uit Staphorst waarin werd gedemonstreerd hoe het staphorster stipwerk
gemaakt werd. Helaas heb ik daarvan geen foto. Niet aan gedacht om te maken. Mijn camera had ik ook niet bij me omdat onze dochter met school naar Barcelona is en die heeft de camera mee. Dus de paar foto's die ik wel gemaakt heb , die heb ik met de telefoon gemaakt en de kwaliteit is toch wat minder vind ik zelf.
Het is hier in huis deze week wel heel erg stil. Onze zoon zit nog steeds in Canada , onze dochter van 17 zit met school in Belgie, paardrijden in de Ardennen. En onze dochter van (bijna) 15 zit dus in Barcelona. Ik hoop maar dat die a.s. donderdag geen last heeft van de aswolk anders moeten ze langer blijven of met de bus terug.

There was a day about textile, wool , felting etc. They showed us how the traditional Staphorster stipwork was made,
but I forgot to make pictures from that . The few pictures I did take I took with my telephone. So the quality is not so good I guess.
This week there are only 3 of us in the house, our son is still in Canada, our daugther (17) is in Belgium with school riding in the hills on a horse and our other daughter (almost 15) is in Barcelona Spain with school . I do hope the ash cloud is not moving her way, becourse she is flying home on thursday.
Dit is het kraampje van Iboy. Zij heeft angora geiten en laat de wol spinnen daarna verft ze de gesponnen wol in prachtige kleuren.This is the table from Iboy. She has angora goats and sents the wool of to get spun, after she gets it back she dyes it in the most beautiful colors.
